The Coerver® Coaching Youth Diploma 1 has been developed from 31 years of knowledge and work with the leading federations, clubs, managers and star names in International Football.
John will pass on tips to coaches as well as taking part in an exclusive questions and answer session.

Gordon has been involved in football as a coach and consultant for over 25 years and has travelled the globe working with top players and clubs. Gordon has become renowned as a top coach and presenter when it comes to youth player development.
As Director of Coerver® Coaching for over 20 years in Scotland and Portugal. He has worked and presented to U.E.F.A groups, The Scottish Football Association, Sunderland FC, Rangers FC, Heart of Midlothian FC, and Livingston F.C as well as working with SL Benfica as part of a global coaching project.

Coerver® Coaching are delighted to welcome Tass Thistle from North Ayrshire as a Coerver® Partner Club.
Coerver® Partner Club provides grassroots clubs with professional level support in the development of coaches and players. The club receives support in 4 key areas of Coach Education, Session Planning, Team Training & Resources.
Like Coerver® Coaching, Tass Thistle was founded in 1984, beginning with 1 team, now the club has players aged 5-16, with both boys and girls teams playing in local leagues. This new partnership will see 120 children from Ardrossan, Saltcoats and Stevenston from age five upwards receiving Coerver® training. Coaches at Tass Thistle will also have ongoing education in delivering the Coerver® method during team training sessions.
John Slavin, Tass secretary, said: “Tass have a few coaches using Coerver® methods and we could see how effective they were in developing our young players. We really wanted the whole club to benefit and this is an ideal way to do it’.
“It’s also a great accolade to become an official Coerver® Partner Club. We can’t wait to get started, the players and coaches are really excited about it.”
Tass chairman Alex Tulloch said it was credit to the club that the parents, players and coaches embraced the innovative partnership.
He added: “We’re so grateful to the parents for their positive response which has allowed us to take the partnership forward and in turn, will help their children’s football education to flourish.
“Tass have always had a reputation for developing players, this partnership with Coerver® will help keep us ahead of the game.”

Over the last four months109 players from 21 different grassroots clubs have taken part in Coerver® PLAY LIKE THE STARS at the Hibernian FC Training Centre.
PLAY LIKE THE STARS uses the World’s best players and teams as models to teach, inspire and motivate young players. Players took part in six three-hour clinics, each with a different themed star model session.
A spokesman for Hibernian Community Foundation said ‘We were delighted to welcome so many young players to the programme from local clubs. Through this partnership with Coerver® Coaching we aim to support players and coach development at grassroots level, inspiring young players and people to be the best they can whilst having fun’
The course also included a behind the scenes tour of the training ground, whilst the players utilised the fantastic professional development facilities at the training centre including media/video room, indoor dome, outdoor 3G and outdoor grass pitches.
Joe Jones Coerver Scotland Director said ‘Play Like the Stars has been part of Coerver® history since the programme began. For the last 31 years we have used the star players to light the fire in young players to practice more often and with more purpose’.
